Welcome to the Fine Art by Scotty June 2017 Newsletter. This year has been an absolute whirlwind so far. After an incredible show at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale 2017, the team immediately got to work fulfilling orders. After taking a look at our processes, we identified many opportunities for improvement in both production and your experience when you join the collector family.
First and foremost, the facilities had to be updated to handle the higher volume and house the new equipment. The good idea fairy took the basic update of the production room and a little spring cleaning, to an entire facilities rework, which we internally dubbed Operation Destroyed to Enjoyed. Scotty made a career of taking things to excess (take a look at the Toy Box for starters) and this task was no different. This year already started out as a transformative one with new events, a redesigned website and stunning, new #SexyCool art. So why not dedicate 2,500 man-hours for an over-the-top rework of the entire property too.
Scotty and crew worked for over a month, sometimes seven days a week, doing demo and cleaning, quickly filling a 40-yard dumpster. As this newsletter was written, contractors and painters were hard at work putting it all back together. While the timeline was extended by a mere 400% and the office spaces are still coming together, the results will certainly be worth the tremendous effort.
As difficult as the wait has been, Scotty is anxious to create new pieces. With his latest purchases of state-of-the-art equipment, he will produce things like you haven't seen before. His eye for beauty can finally marry his decades of experience in design, manufacturing and material knowledge. This year at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale 2017, we produced many videos of Scotty telling you about the art. The response was more than we anticipated, so in the remodel we dedicated a purpose-built section for filming. We will be regularly posting videos of Scotty telling you about each piece. What we need from you is to Like us on your favorite social media platform and comment with the things you would like him to talk about next. Scotty is a charismatic storyteller and it's fun to hear his candid thoughts about each piece.

There was no better way to kick off summer this year than celebrating Memorial Day Weekend in Key West. Scotty unveiled exciting, new artwork at Millionaire Gallery Fine Art Memorial Weekend and select, one-of-a-kind pieces will be at the the Rock Lives On gallery later this year.
